Prehistoric archaeology expert invited to give talk at Harvard Medical School
Dr Malcolm Lillie has been invited by the Reich DNA Laboratory in the Department of Genetics at Harvard Medical School, to talk about his work studying prehistoric Ukrainian populations.
Dr Lillie, Department of Geography, Environment and Earth Sciences, has been invited along with Ukrainian colleagues that he has collaborated with since 1994.
The talk is part of a week-long visit to Harvard during which Dr Lillie and his colleagues will begin a collaborative research project aimed at furthering the recent results of Haak et al. (2015).
The letter argues that there are generic origins for the Indo-European languages of Europe in the steppe region of Ukraine from ca. 4500 through to ca. 3000 years ago.
