The Conversation visit
Annabel Bligh, an editor for The Conversation, will be visiting the University on 19th March to meet with academics and postgraduate students.
The Conversation is an independent source of news and views, sourced from the academic and research community and delivered direct to the public. It works with university and research institute experts to unlock their knowledge for use by the wider public.
At the moment Hull Uni is the most widely read University on the network, with over 6 million reads of our articles.
Academics and postgraduate students who may be interested in working with The Conversation are invited to come along to the session, which will take place from 12noon to 3pm. Lunch will be available so if you would like to reserve a place, please contact Megan Kinsey firstname.lastname@example.org.
Dr Mark Lorch (Chemistry) and Professor Chris Bovis (HUBS) will be speaking about their experiences of writing for this website and sharing their tips on how to get your articles widely read.
PGR students who write for The Conversation can gain 10 credits via module 05038 on the Post-graduate training scheme.
